Driving Impact Through Mentorship

When reflecting on what he’s most proud of in his journey, Dimitris doesn’t only mention metrics, he talks about people, too.

Taking the lead on onboarding and training a new colleague while managing my own demanding projects really stands out,” he shares. “I followed our onboarding structure, made time for one-on-one training, and gave actionable feedback. Watching them grow confident and contribute on their own was incredibly rewarding.

By stepping up as a mentor, Dimitris didn’t just help someone else succeed, he elevated the performance and cohesion of the team as a whole.

Going the Extra Mile

Dimitris is no stranger to problem-solving under pressure. On a project focused on a highly specialized market, traditional research methods can hit a wall. Rather than accept limitations, he got creative.

Our usual tools weren’t enough, so I tapped into my personal network and cold-called contacts to source the insights we needed,” he explains. “It wasn’t easy, but it made the difference.

It’s this mix of resilience and resourcefulness that makes Dimitris a trusted project lead: someone who always finds a way to deliver value to the client.

Ask Dimitris what excellence means to him, and he doesn’t hesitate: “Consistency.

To me, it’s not just about getting things done, it’s about doing them really well. It means pushing for the best possible result while being efficient and smart about how you work. Always looking for ways to improve.

That mindset has helped him build trust with colleagues, experts and clients alike, and push himself to higher standards with each new challenge.

A Mindset Shift That Changed Everything

Looking back on the last year, Dimitris credits one core value with accelerating his growth: ownership.

Ownership means taking full accountability; whether something succeeds or not,” he says. “That shift helped me approach challenges differently. I started leading with more confidence and driving results more proactively.

From Mentee to Mentor

Behind every rising leader is someone who helped pave the way. For Dimitris, that guidance came early on.

Athina Manousou, my first manager, had a huge impact on my growth. Her feedback helped shape how I work and how I lead,” he shares. More recently, he’s found inspiration in working alongside Effie Mastora. “She challenged me to refine my management approach, her feedback helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect.

That mentorship shaped Dimitris into the mentor he is today and inspired him to invest in others the same way.

I make it a point to support teammates—especially newer ones—by sharing best practices, collaborating closely, and encouraging different ways of thinking. That’s what builds a strong team culture.

What Becoming a Senior Associate Means to Me

For Dimitris, this next chapter is about more than just a new title.
